We are super excited to be working with the guys from 40ft Brewery up the road in Dalston. These stalwart home brew enthusiasts have hit the big time with help from the ex-head beer honcho from the Truman Brewery.
Chef Francis Puyat and Andrew Zilouf of Hallou-mi Pop Up fame have sweated tirelessly to bring you an Iron Chef style evening with of course beer as the ingredient du jour. Special mention to the divine Disco Pils Battered Tilapia, escabeche sweet & sour, pickled carrot, pepper, chilli medley & a Kalamansi pats dressing washed down with Blackheart Mary, Chef’s homemade Harrissa, Deep Stout, vodka & lemon.
Our bar will feature the delightful thirst quencher the Disco Pils, this 100% lager malt pale ale has all the easy-drinking joy of a fresh lager with the nuance craftiness of punchy pale ale ale.
Hop on the heels is the legendary StreetWeiss wheat beer. Notes of tropicality, including melon and clove, round of a brisk bitter fresh bite .
Following on is Pale. A mix of American & New Zealand hops deliver a hint of rye sweetness. Think a mellowed out version of Beavertown’s Gamma Ray.
Stouten your hearts with Deep a dry Irish stout that has won personal plaudits for Guinness’ own brewers.
